Are any of these products really vintage or antique?

No - everything we sell is brand-new, manufactured after you order.

When it comes to products that might have the word vintage, retro or antique in the title or description, there are three main reasons, depending on the specific item:

  • The design might be vintage or antique (one example might be a tote bag made with a pattern from a piece of Victorian fabric); or
  • It might be vintage-inspired or our version of a design; or
  • It may be an all-new design that have been intentionally given a "distressed" or aged effect.

Why does my new shirt smell like vinegar?

If you have received your shirt and smelled a vinegar-like scent when you opened it up, don't worry -- this is totally normal. What you're smelling is a little of the fixative agent used during the printing process -- used to help bond the ink to the fabric. The smell should go away after one wash.

Why is there off-white/yellow stuff on my shirt?

This is some residue of a fixative agent used during the printing process -- it helps bond the ink to the fabric. The extra you see is not permanent, and should go away after one wash.

Do your all-over prints have white streaks or creases (from the sublimation dye process)?

No. We specifically chose our manufacturing partners for our all-over clothing because they fully dye the material first, then cut it into pieces and sew it together. This ensures a complete, professional-grade print. (This is also why our all-over print products cost a little bit more.)


Custom made = no returns

Because everything we sell is custom-made, we are, unfortunately, not able to accept returns. To put it another way: All sales are final.

The exception: Of course, if something went wrong on our end, we will make it right! Just contact us to let us know if an item was misprinted, defective, damaged, or you received the incorrect item. (Please provide the order number, a brief description of the problem, and include a photo if possible.)

If something was misprinted, defective, damaged, or you received the incorrect item, we will work with our partner manufacturer to replace the item, or if that is not possible, we'll issue you a store credit or refund.

Please contact us within 14 days after receipt of the merchandise (and sooner is better so we can get a replacement on the way). Returns, where applicable, need to be made within 30 days of receipt of purchase.

Please note that sizing can vary between manufacturers and styles, so we provide sizing charts for the various items. (If you have questions about a product's sizing, please contact us before you order.)

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for the purchase of incorrect sizes, and can't accept returns for ordering errors.

  1. The print on your item may vary slightly from the mockup image, as print placements can vary from order-to-order, or within an order.
  2. Prints may show minor acceptable flaws related to the nature of the printing method combined with the product material (for example, a shirt's fabric's fibers showing through the print).
